Ziv Pinco is a pianist and composer currently based in Sydney studying under the tutelage of Natalia Ricci at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Ziv began composing and playing piano at an early age, receiving a classical education throughout his youth. Ziv has performed extensively as a classical soloist and collaborative pianist spanning a wide range of styles including Classical, Jazz, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. In 2025, Ziv was selected to be the musical director of &Juliet by PACA Productions at the Riverside theatres. In 2024 Ziv was the musical director for the first disability inclusive musical in Sydney and only the second in Australia, Umbrella School of Music’s production of Disney’s Camp Rock. Ziv has been performing for the global concert series ‘Candlelight Fever’ since 2025, performing music by Jay Chou, Ludivico Einaudi and Disney classics. As a composer, Ziv has been commissioned to write for numerous theatre productions across Sydney. In 2023, Ziv was chosen to compose original music for an original and modern adaptation of the Greek legend of Orpheus and Eurydice produced by the Sydney University Dramatic Society. In 2024, Ziv was selected by the Melbourne Composers League to represent Australia at the 2025 Asian Composers League Festival in Japan where his saxophone trio ‘Late To Work!’ was given its premiere. Ziv’s music has been performed both across Australia and internationally and as of 2026, Ziv has become a represented artist with the Australian Music Centre (AMC). His compositional work includes scores for theatre, film, orchestra, and the concert hall. Ziv continues to develop a diverse career as both performer and composer, distinguished by a unique artistic voice that has established him as one of Australia’s fastest-rising young composer-pianists.
