Yosua Malmsteen is an Indonesian composer and classical guitarist. His work centers on microtonality as a medium for sonic transformation, with a particular focus on the 24-TET system to expand harmonic color beyond conventional limits. Influenced by the spiritual intensity and coloristic imagination of Olivier Messiaen, his music unfolds as dynamic, evolving sound worlds that balance fragility, tension, and transcendence. Through experimental notation and extended techniques, he seeks to redefine expressive possibilities within contemporary chamber music.
