Yindi Zhou (b. 2002, Chengdu, China) is a composer. She studied composition at the Middle School Affiliated to Sichuan Conservatory of Music and later at the Central Conservatory of Music. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in composition at Nuremberg University of Music. Her compositions draw inspiration from Chinese traditional culture and aim to bring its aesthetics into contemporary musical language. Through works for solo instruments, chamber ensembles, and orchestra, she explores new ways of connecting traditional cultural heritage with modern composition.
