Natalia Smirnova, 21

Ryazan, Russia

Hello! My name is Natalia, and I'm a composer from Russia. My musical journey began in childhood - at the age of four, my first music teacher noticed my talent for playing the piano and invited me for a trial lesson. Since then, I have been involved with music for seventeen years. In my final year of high school, I decided to apply to the Theoretical and Composition Department of the Saint Petersburg College of Music named after Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky. I successfully passed the entrance exams and was admitted to one of the best music colleges in Russia. Currently, I continue to write music: primarily smaller-scale works for symphony orchestra, as well as pieces for string duos and trios. My main dream to this day remains becoming a film composer and writing the score for a film that will one day go down in history.
