Maryn Bautista is a composer from the Philippines. Her interest in music began in the theater organization, Teatro Paulino, where she served as an assistant music supervisor, music composer, and eventually, a musical director. She is currently studying at the University of the Philippines Diliman with a major in Music Composition under Dr. Jonas Baes and a minor in Piano under Dr. Clement Acevedo. She is largely self-taught in music production. She composes contemporary, musical/theatrical, and indie music. She is an officer in Kapihan ng Kontemporaneong Manlilikha ng Musika, the organization of the Department of Composition and Theory of UP Diliman. She is also part of the Manila Composers Lab as a liaison, coordinator, host, and composer. She aspires to compose music for theater, film, or television.
