Bodie Alizzi (18) is a young Australian composer, conductor, and creative storyteller whose work bridges the worlds of orchestral music, opera, and programmatic narrative. With a deep fascination for emotion-driven storytelling, his compositions often explore themes of transformation, morality, and the human condition. His works range from dark, philosophical requiems to vivid, fantastical soundscapes. As a conductor with the Moreton Bay Symphony Orchestra, Bodie brings both precision and intensity to the podium, shaping performances with a strong sense of narrative and colour. His compositional voice is heavily influenced by late Romantic and impressionistic traditions, as well as classical and more modern works. Beyond traditional concert works, Bodie frequently ventures into operatic and conceptual writing, crafting immersive worlds where music and story are inseparable. His projects include large-scale programmatic works, concert band compositions, and in-universe philosophical writings inspired by complex fictional settings. Driven by ambition and a desire to create emotionally powerful experiences, Bodie Alizzi represents a new generation of musicians unafraid to explore darkness, beauty, and everything in between. In his free time he is also a percussionist and Composition student within the Queensland Conservatorium (Griffith University) Follow me on Instagram!! @bodie_alizzi_studios
